Experience

I am responsible of the Laboratory of Animal Systematics and Diversity, and conduct research about biodiversity of marine invertebrates; links between food webs, ecological plasticity and environmental change; and polar and deep-sea ecology.
I teach a total 308h (29 ECTS credits) to multiple BSc, MSc and PhD programs.

I took part in the “Deep-Sea Environments” and “Marine lipids: biological roles and applications” courses (master level).

I studied food web structure and trophic interactions in deep-sea benthic ecosystems.

I co-taught the “Study of stable isotopes and applications to marine environments” course (master and PhD level).

I studied global change influence on trophic interactions among Antarctic zoobenthos in the framework of the vERSO project.
I co-managed ULiège’s stable isotope facility.

I was in charge of the scientific coordination of the STARE-CAPMED project, which focused on anthropogenic impacts on Mediterranean coastal ecosystems.

I developed analytical methods in the field of stable isotope ecology.
I participated to studies of food webs in marine, freshwater and terrestrial ecosystems.

I completed a PhD about food webs associated to Mediterranean seagrass meadows.
I taught practical biology courses to undergraduate students
